Description
The BrainMaster Discovery 24 is an EEG amplifier for 19-site qEEG recordings, with 24 amplifier channels in total. This configuration includes an impedance meter and BrainAvatar Acquisition for recording and reviewing EEG.
Discovery 24 has 24 amplifier inputs: 22 through the cap connection and two separate differential inputs. A conventional 19-site scalp recording uses the international 10–20 montage. The 24-bit amplifier connects to a Windows computer through an isolated USB interface, which also supplies power.
The included impedance lid checks electrode contact before recording. BrainAvatar Acquisition records and reviews the EEG; 19-channel neurofeedback, normative Z-score training and live sLORETA each require their corresponding software licences. A compatible cap and the selected software modules complete the recording setup.
